The day before Good Friday I got a phone call from the school saying that Caleb fell down and has a goose egg on his forehead. They put ice on it and said that he seemed fine. They told me that I could come and look at it and/or come get him. They had not had their Easter egg hunt yet. Ok, do I pick him up and he misses the Easter egg hunt and he is upset with me. OR. Do I not go to check out the damage and look like a bad mom?? I chose the second one, I could not go get him and have him miss the egg hunt. Chris was picking him up at lunch, an hour and a half away, so, I figured he would be ok. And he was, but it was quite the goose egg.
I found out when he got home that Caleb had tripped on his coat and his cousin Logan had jumped on him making Caleb's head hit the floor. Boys!
