A 2 Year Old's Mind

Last week we had a storm begin while Keagan was lying in bed still awake. He called for me and informed me that "big bunny was making noise" - You see we have two bunnies that like to hang out in our backyard in the early evening, one being big and the other being a baby. So, Keagan thought that it was the big bunny making the thunder noise that he was hearing. I explained to him that the noise was coming from the clouds in the sky and he then said "lions in the sky making noise". It was too cute but I needed him to understand somewhat so he wasn't afraid that there actually were lions in the sky or that a big bunny rabbit was capable of making a noise as loud as the thunder was that night.
