Green With Envy

I read other peoples blogs and I envy them. Maybe I just don't have the life that my friend Jess (The Entertaining House) had as a child and maybe I can't take pictures like Jessica (I heart) and maybe I'm not the daycare provider or parent that Marie (Everyday Matters) is but I'm thinking I should be able to make my blog as interesting. Shouldn't I?

Any ideas as to what I should write about to help me get back into the blog world?

I say just write about your everyday life with your kids. Add pictures and there ya go!

I totally get where you're coming from ... but ... you can't compare yourself to other bloggers, or you'll go nuts!

Figure out what you goal is with your blog. Mine is so that I log events in Kate's life, because I don't scrap and such.

Have you ever considered blogging about your parenting style and parenting choices? Or life as a hockey mom?

I sometimes think the same things Debra. But I write my blog for me mostly. It helps me to process my thoughts and feelings and records little moments that would otherwise get away from me. Don't worry about making it interesting b/c that just adds pressure. Just go ahead and write. I think pictures help too b/c who doesn't love a cute kid thrown in every now and then. :) I'd love to hear how you juggle life w/3 kids, a demanding hockey plus other activity schedule w/a preteen while also caring for several other children besides your own.
